I actually have remedied that quite a bit this past year but even then you know bulbs

just a little bit more difficult here as we heard in yesterday's show.

And Summer you're talking a little bit about how you want to have a tapestry of blooms

throughout the seasons and of course that would start with spring and so I was wondering

Well I'll go first because I think the thing that came to mind for me was crocuses and

you see them oftentimes at Botanic Gardens I was in Sweden and they had some it was like

really cold and chilly and there might have even been ice on the ground and there are

some crocuses popping up.

I always get such a rise out of seeing flowers in winter.

You know some of the native flowers like chamomileous virginiana which is our witch haze

all it has flowers in the winter and those are just things like really bring you a smile

So for me it was crocuses but Peggan introduced like a wide variety of other spring and early

summer bulbs that expanded my mind beyond the crocus.
