Acts 8 verses 1 to 8. And Saul was consenting to his, that is Stephen's death, and on that day a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem.

And they were all scattered throughout the region of Judea and Samaria, except the Apostles.

Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him, but Saul laid waste the church,

and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.

Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word.

Philip went down to a city of Sumeria and proclaimed to them the Christ.

And the multitudes with one accord gave heed to what was said by Philip when they heard

him and saw the signs which he did.

For unclean spirits came out of many who were possessed, crying with a loud voice,

and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was much joy in that city.

Let's pray.

O Lord God, I yearn for you to move now in these next 20 minutes or so on your people.

Your word is truth sanctify us by the truth. You will know the truth and the truth

will set you free, make us free. The truth saves. Gospel is the power of God into salvation.

Say, Father. Holds on back from sin, I pray in this coming week, humble those of us who need humbling,

quick in love in those of us who are drifting from it.

Ignite a new fire in some who have grown cold.

May some to whom Jesus says, you are not far from the kingdom come on inside.

Lord move now I pray. Let the words of my mouth not be in vain, but by the grace and mercy of the

Holy Spirit, may they have effect and power in changing lives. I ask now in the name of Jesus, our king, our
