Summary

After a rant about Spotify's current policy to only allow for 12 hours of audio book listening per month, we check back in with the OC ladies as they continue their reunion. Should Katie be blamed for her daughter being a TikTok star who made a funny video about her mother's rivals? Can Emily understand that not everyone is a lawyer and, if they were, her career choice would be obsolete? Will Alexis recognize that she's been trained to be a mouthpiece for a scorned man? Does Heather understand that yelling at women whose children think she's mean does not help her case? We find answers to these questions and more in Part two of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

WOMEN'S RIGHTS: Help pressure Biden to pass the Equal Rights Amendment that would give women protections in the Constitution before his term ends. Call the White House at (202) 456-1111 or text at (302) 404-0880 and simply say, "I’m calling to urge President Biden to make publication of the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution a priority before the end of his term." So easy. The 28th Amendment to the Constitution would make sure no one faces gender discrimination and would help protect women against gender-based violence, banning birth control, and unequal pay. Without an amendment giving women equal rights, those injustices are harder to protect against. Call and tell a friend!

Welcome to the high and low podcast.

This is your host, Bravo, Bravo, Drac, and Bravo.

Today we're going to do a recap of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

0:13.6

This is reunion part two, I believe.

0:15.2

And I added to my Patreon a whole list of the low-pressure book club things that I'm going to be reviewing. I'm going to pick

0:22.2

one serious book a month and review that and you can follow along with me or not. Right now,

0:27.8

of course, I'm reading that book of like, why does he do that about men and why some men hate

0:33.1

women and whatever? And it's very, it's fascinating. Like I've already used up, I want to say 20 bookmarks, not bookmarks, but you know, those little tabby things. And I'm like, I can't keep doing this. So I think I'm going to have to buy a highlighter and highlight things that stand out to me, which is going to be like every other sentence, and then just use the tabs for things where I'm referencing sections. It's enlightening, though. I'm going to share the little

0:54.6

report on that when I'm done. So because that's such intense content that I'm taking in through my

0:59.5

eyeballs, I'm balancing it out by playing the audio of a court and mist and fury. You heard me right.

1:05.4

I'm back in there. I'm back in there because I realized that my two-week time period where I got a time out on Spotify

1:12.5

because I ran through all my hours listening to the audio, dramatic audio version of a court

1:17.0

of thorns and roses. I was like, oh my gosh, I think it's up. I think they just rolled over and

1:21.7

they've charged me again. So I ran back over there, show enough. Good to go. Fresh hours. We started over.

1:28.8

We stopped the clock and we started again with my 12 hours per month. And can I just say how ridiculous and selfish and disgusting that is of

1:37.2

Spotify? I've been a Spotify member for at the very least five years. I've already done this math.

1:42.3

So let's say I've paid, because now I pay $11.99, $12 a month

1:48.7

is what I pay for my whatever basic plan on Spotify so that they don't harass me with ads,

1:54.0

and I can just listen to my low-key playlist whenever I want. For all the years that I've been a

1:59.3

paying member of when it started $7,

2:02.4

then it was $9, it was $10. Now it's $12. That whole time, I've been a loyal member and I never

2:07.6

once before this have ever listened to an audio book via Spotify. So the first time I ever
