| 0:54.1 | Willie Miller and Stephen Cragan are there for us. Stephen, you must be very proud of your former club at the Zav Thune. They created so many chances. Eventually, the tuck won away. And they deserved it, Kenny. I don't think anyone would argue that they didn't deserve to win the game. There were spells where Aberdeen had pressure. I think they lacked quality at times in the final third. Motherwell stood strong defensively. Aberdeen piled the pressure on, brought on forward after forward, played wingers high up, but attacking fullbacks on. And Motherwell stood firm, barring that Nicky Devlin, I think, header in the second half, that was the best chance they had from a set play. But I thought they handled it really well well their composure was good and at times you have to sink deep just because of this sheer force that the that the opposition are putting on you and the pressure putting on you it forces you to stand the edge of your box they don't want to do it they want to play a certain way the downside or the flip side of it is they could have been more ruthless at the top end of the pitch the game could have been dead and buried long before it was it could have been two or three nil rather than one so i think they'll be delighted with the progress have made we'd said ahead of the game that playing football in a certain way and very deliberate and how they play is good it's pleasing on the eye everybody enjoys it but there has to be an end product there has to be a purpose at the end of it and winning games is fulfilling that purpose and they've done it this afternoon. It's great for them. |
