Summary
The magic that kept the Chicago Bears alive amidst many moments of potential death ran out in a snowy and cold day in the Windy City. Patrick was at the game, Rob was on his couch, but both of them are shockingly optimistic about what this loss says about the future. Plus, Patrick documented his adventures to Soldier Field. You’ll hear that before Rob and Patrick chat about where to place blame, where future excitement lies, and we also make fun of Aaron Rodgers.

| 0:21.9 | It is one day before the game. |

| 0:29.3 | I'm only going to be in Chicago for one day, day and a half at most. |
| 0:35.6 | We're going Sunday morning. |
| 0:37.1 | Someone's coming to watch our kids. |
| 0:39.1 | And then going downtown, we have the tailgate near the Field Museum. There's tailgating on both |
| 0:46.5 | the north and south end of the Soldier Field, the stadium. So I'm, we, I don't know my direction. |
| 0:54.6 | Where the Field Museum is? On that side, it's a smaller side. You know, if you look at Bear's Tailgating, the videos are going to be from a different part of the stadium. But we have close friends that have been, have like family tickets. They've been going to games for decades. And when we used to live in the city, we'd go Tailgate and then go watch the game at the bar. Now whenever we make it to a game, try to stop by the tailgate. |
| 1:13.3 | So we're going there we'd go tailgate and then go watch the game at the bar. Now whenever we'd make it to a game, try to stop by the tailgate. |

| 1:18.7 | People are in line. |
| 1:19.7 | Then they set up. |
| 1:21.0 | The game starts at 5.30. |
| 1:22.4 | So our plan is to get there by lunchtime, check into the hotel, changed into all of our gear for the weather, |
| 1:31.5 | then make our way over to a bar that is in walking distance to the tailgate, watch part |
| 1:37.0 | of the first game, walk over to the tailgate, and then walk over to the game. |
| 1:40.7 | Got to try and not make the same mistake that I made when I went in 2018 to the Bears football game where you're just excited at the tailgate, like you're trying |
| 1:49.8 | to finish a beer, and you're like, well, the stadium is literally right there. I can see it. It's, |
| 1:53.3 | it's like half a block away. Well, then you get to the security line. Maybe you pick a line |
| 1:58.7 | that's closest to your seat, but that line is long. Anyway, |
| 2:01.3 | I remember the 2018 game. We missed the opening. You know, we missed the National Anthem. We |
