Summary

Mark Chapman is here with a BUMPER episode of the pod which is dedicated to Saturday’s action in the third round of the FA Cup. And the day certainly didn’t disappoint as there were shocks, late goals and upsets up and down the country. John Murray and Chris Waddle were at Hillsborough as they watched League One Sheffield Wednesday knock out Newcastle with a 2-1 victory. A rather disappointed Eddie Howe makes an appearance as does a much happier manager, Darren Moore. There were goals galore at Anfield as Liverpool had a close call against Wolves – but they will now have to settle for a replay after that match finished two all. Jurgen Klopp and Julen Lopetegui both pop on the pod to give their take on the game as does Michael Brown and Conor McNamara who were watching all the action unfold. Championship sides Blackpool and Burnley knocked out Premier League teams, while Wrexham – who are in the National League caused a major upset as they beat Championship side Coventry – so a rather jubilant Phil Parkinson joins Sports Report after that amazing result for the Welsh side. Meanwhile, non-league Chesterfield were so, so close to getting a win over West Brom but were held to a late draw – so Chappers gets all the reaction from that match. Elsewhere World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister comes on the show after helping Brighton get a win over Middlesbrough. The big names don’t stop there as Chappers hears from Harry Kane, Vincent Kompany and many more, so you don’t want to miss out on this episode!!
