The Wizards were in action last night before the all-star break.

Denny Avia erupts for 43.

I was watching late in the game. They had a chance it was close down the stretch but they end up losing

133 to 126 they're out scored in the fourth quarter 34 to 28 but yeah the story is Denny Avdia he goes for 43 points hit six of 10 three pointers

He's just asserting himself now when he didn't really assert himself earlier in his career.

He's 23 years old still.

So it seems like he's been around forever, but he's just 23. He's got his scoring average up to 14.

But when you look at the last four games, this is just not what you're accustomed to from Denny Avdia.

He may be becoming the go-to guy. They do seem to be putting the ball

on his hands more. Last four games, 24, 21, 25, and 43 points. He also had 15 rebounds last night. You know when he first got on the scene you guys

teased me because I said he was Luke Alight because I saw one clip in a pre-season game where he was bringing the ball up the court and I was like, oh, this guy might be like a point guard.

And they haven't really used him like that until recently where you see him bringing the ball up the court a little bit more.

Obviously, Lucadonschich is averaging almost 35 points a game.

He is Luca very, very light, but he has those capabilities and I think now he's being

less gun shy you know he's he's never been the main option and he's not the main

option with cal- Kuzma there but maybe he's the number two and look if Jordan pool is going to continue to disappoint and not score to the level that I'm sure the team thought he would when they acquired him then they need

somebody to step into that void and score more and maybe that's that's what the

coaching staff is drilling into his head. He's still only 23 years old. Yeah, he's a youngen.

Maybe, I mean it's better than this possibly. But if you remember,

Otto Porter had that career arc, I mean you could goof on Otto Porter, but he had a couple years like where he was really building.

He was just traded again, by the way. I can't even remember what team models on.
