Gentlemen, I was not here last weekend, but just everything went well at football.

It looked like a nice win from what we were watching.

And also now on the road for Ole Miss heading to Oxford, this is one that is going to be one of the annual games, as they're going to be called in the next four years of

schedules, but it's history in this series.

And I know you and Todd Politz were working on some notes.

This game has its own history that has spanned decades.

Yeah, you know, I'm glad to see that this one stayed as an annual game. I was a little

surprised Alabama went away, but that's okay. But yeah, LSU Ole Miss. I mean, there's a lot of

history. 113 games, I think, have been played between the programs. And how about this? This is the first time.

Now, granted, we usually play Ole Miss later in the year, but this is the first time

LSU and Ole Miss enter the game unbeaten and untied since 1959.

Wow.

Wow.

And that was a pretty famous game.

Yeah, that was the old Billy Cannon, 89-yard punt return.

And, you know, I'm doing some research, I didn't realize.

So, Bill, he was also in on the goal line stand that ultimately won the game.

Yeah, on fourth down.

He stopped the Ole Miss quarterback.

Was Jake Gibbs the quarterback for Ole? I believe that's right, yes. Jay Gibbs was the Ole Miss quarterback. Yeah. Was Jake Gibbs the quarterback for Ole Miss?
