I'm Kent Lowe, joined as always by Michael Bonnet and Bill Frank is.

And gentlemen, how were the holidays for you and your families?

We had those?

We had those?

You allegedly were in Houston, I guess, for part of the holidays.

We made the trek around the state, visiting family and friends, and then ended up in Houston on Christmas night.

And played a bowl game a couple days later, and here we are, back at it.

So, Billy, how was your holiday oh very good uh we

stayed within uh the state boundaries this year uh mostly in the lafayette area got to see some

family and uh some of my wife's family came here at baton roos so it had a great time and of

of course the start of the new year, turning the calendar into January.

We know baseball is right around the corner, so definitely looking forward to that.

And Bill, already, LSU ranked number one preseason, at least one of the polls that's come out.

The first poll came out today, as a matter of fact, a perfect game ranked LSU number one in its preseason poll.

And there'll be several more to come in the coming weeks, D1 Baseball, Baseball America,

or the other primary polls still to come. USA Today Coach's poll as well.

But yeah, Coach Johnson certainly I believe we'll embrace that.

It's the second time in four years.

We've been a preseason number one.

We were number one back in 2023 to start the year, and of course went on to win the national title.
