Today, we cover the impact of sports in the Soviet Union. Also, I am adding a tribute to one of the inspirations for this podcast, my daughter, Anastasya Schauss, who passed away on September 23, at the age of 27.

0:43.6	heritage, about their side of the family that was Russian, so that they would know the

0:49.7	Unfortunately on September 23rd my oldest daughter Anastasia, also known as Anastasia
0:56.4	passed away at the age of 27.
1:00.2	She was one of the reasons I started this and will be one of the reasons I continue.

1:18.6	This was probably the most challenging topic I've attempted to create a podcast episode

1:27.6	Several books on the subject are available but some are just absolutely cost prohibitive.

1:39.8	Instead I decided to see if there was enough information online to accomplish the task
