Ooh, it was a party at TD Garden last night.

Taco Mania. Sorry, Maine. He belongs to us now. Just kidding. He'll be back there soon. He'll be back there as soon as Time Lord comes off the shelf. But that was fun watching him out there last night. It's Celtics at noon here, 985, the sportsub, Christian Arcan. Sean Silver here with you. It was a pretty, I'll tell you what.

Last night, I didn't really know what I was expecting.

It's not like the pistons are any good.

They mostly blow.

But when Kemba Walker came out of the gate and couldn't make a shot,

you saw the young guys really take that game over.

You saw Jason Tatum in that first quarter drop 13 points. Jalen Brown had 15 in the second quarter. And how about Grant Williams in the second half? He was tremendous, I thought, in that game. Very efficient. He was hitting threes. And then you got taco in the game. You had Romeo Langford out there scoring his first points. It was a pretty fun night there last night. And listen, I just, I was me last night, Silver. Jones wasn't there. And thank God he wasn't because he would have dumped all over everybody cheering for Taco. But you know, listen, Taco played what, five minutes, the last five minutes of the game. Yeah. You can't tell me. You can't look me in the face. And Jones or anybody else can't tell me that Brad Stevens getting the crowd pumped up like he's Hulk Hogan, you know, giving the whole hand up to the ear thing, waiting for the crowd to get loud enough before he sent Taco into the game. You can't tell me that wasn't funny. Well, you know something mean, Gene. That was great. I was watching that. I was like, this is actually fine. This is entertaining. If you were a TD Garden last night, you were entertained. No question about it. Yeah, that was absolutely the type of game where you bring in some of the reserves and you give the keys to guys, you know, who normally, I mean, Tatum and Brown, yeah, they're going to lead the team in scoring

a lot of nights, but it's just great to kind of, you don't need a safety net on a night like that. It's just kind of see what people can do. I mean, the Pistons didn't have Blake Griffin playing. So to see Grant Williams come in, I mean, he is shooting threes with confidence now. he's making them.

That's a dimension that he's going to need to stay on the floor for them.
