I just thought our pace was really good.

Starters and bench in that first quarter, I just thought that those guys were moving the ball. They were finding the right play. Defensively, we were really locked in and engaged until the very end where we gave up those runouts. You know, it was a better first three quarters, two and a half quarters performance for us, I think. And then the guys in the last four or five minutes, I thought did a good job of kind of, you know,

when Wanamaker came in and thought they did a good job of kind of holding it down and not letting it get any closer than 16 or 18.

After the final call, the Celtics win over the Atlanta Hawks last night, 114 to 96 was your final.

Celtics snapped their three-game losing streak.

Dominant in the first quarter, as I would hope that they would be against the three-win team and the Hawks.

But right from the opening tip in this game, and I can completely understand if many of you

didn't happen to watch this, it's the holiday weekend.

It's the three-win Atlanta Hawks that they're going up against. They lose to the New York Knicks at home on Wednesday, where you have many Celtics fans rightfully booing the team. But a win is a win. They need to start stacking wins right now so that they can build up their confidence. And right from the opening tip last night, good ball movement. Irving, Tatum,

Baines, all hit their first three-pointers of the game. They end up with a 20-point lead in that

first quarter. They never really looked back, which was important, I thought, considering over

the following three quarters, if this was a better team than the three-win hawks that they were

playing last night. A team, by the way, in watching this game last night, feels like an outpost for washed-up has-bens. Vince Carter? Like, see, like 50? It's crazy to me that both him and Dirk still play. I mean, those guys came into the league when Paul Pierce came into the league, when people were still playing an ocarina of time on N64.
