All righty, welcome to the Sports of Celtics show. Jim Murray, Chris Gaspher. We usually have Brian Rob producing the show, but B-Rob, of course, covering the Celtics from Mass Live. So he's out in Milwaukee, getting ready for Game 3 this afternoon. We'll tip off at 3.30. Granny and Max, I'll have a call here locally on 98-5 of sports. I will talk to be robin about 15, 20 minutes or so. He'll get his assessment of game three. Is Marcus Smart probable he'll play tonight. But, you know, it's been like a week since game two, Chris. You were in the building for that, as was I. It was nice to see the Celtics tie the series up. I thought it was a much better team performance overall. Like, let's just quickly go back over game too. If you can remember it. You know, I know some like how this thing is spread out. And I guess I probably shouldn't complain too much because it is content. You want to have the content spread out because once this all wraps up, it's going to be talking about a terrible baseball team for the next like three months. But anyway, even though I wish game three has already happened, happens today. Game two, let's recap again. Better team performance. Jalen Brown, I thought first half, excellent. Yes. Second half disappeared. You're there. Don't know if you saw some of this he did keep grabbing at

that hamstring yeah he was you know so doing that almost every game yeah that's a little bit

of concern um but yeah kept kind of reaching for it softly in that second half i thought you got

good performances obviously from grant williams on both ends of the floor uh al horford tatum was good

uh rob williams i think, is trying to work

his way back from that injury. I still think, I don't know if he's moving right, but that's to be

expected. Derek White, the curious case of Derek White, the passing, facilitating, good, defense, good,

plus 22 on the floor, good.

I don't understand how you can play 28 minutes and have zero points. Even I, with my height, I can get you two in 28 minutes. You put me out there even against pros. I'm going to get you one bucket. Or I'm going to get fouled. I'll go to the line. I'll hit one. I'll at least hit one. I don't know. I think you're shooting free throws like Nick Claxton.

Chris, I'm going to get at least one point.

That's atrocious. And it's, you know, I had looked up some of his numbers. I pulled up his playoff game log earlier in the week because I wanted to see if Derek White had typically been this useless in terms of scoring when he was with San Antonio playing those kind of minutes. And there was a seven-game series that they had with the Nuggets in 19, where he played around 20 minutes and had a four-point game in game seven. But one of these games, he scored 36 points. And you watch him, and I don't know if you've noticed this too, like it just feels like a guy that's not playing with a lot of confidence, at least in terms of his shooting. Yeah, I think that's what it is. And I don't know if he's one of these guys who's been affected by sort of the new ball this year. You know, his three point shooting percentage did dip. Even when he was in San Antonio this year, he shot 31.4% from three. In the regular season with the Celtics, it was 30.6.

It was even worse.

But last year, he was at 34, the year before, he's at 36.6. So it's really dipped. It's never been this low. So whatever's going on with him this year, he hasn't been consistent with the shot. He hasn't had confidence in the shot. I will say in a limited sample of

playoff games, you're talking about
