If you have a Bible and I hope you do, the beauty of the gospel, the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we've got to get to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christianity. It's what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

It's no question that we live in a sports obsessed world,

especially as we enter into college football and pro football season,

world series coming up.

So a lot of people's attention directed towards sports.

So how should the Christian think about sports?

We're going to take the next two weeks to find the answer in a

many series called sports and the gospel. We want to bring some insight into how the

gospel shapes our understanding of an enjoyment of sports and practical instruction

on how to use sports as we make disciples on our home, the community, and the world around us.
