| 0:00.0 | Hello, friends, it's Paul. Just a quick note before we begin this episode. This was a live |
| 0:06.5 | episode and the night we recorded, we were beset with many, many, many, many sound difficulties. |
| 0:13.2 | We had some equipment that was not functioning properly. We had to make do with the equipment |
| 0:18.2 | that was functioning properly and the other equipment that Largo had |
| 0:21.6 | at hand so that everyone could be heard. |
| 0:24.3 | Sound is not great on this. |
| 0:26.0 | It is not ideal. |
| 0:27.3 | And for that, I apologize. |
| 0:29.5 | In addition to microphone issues, you know, half of the people are using one type of microphone, |
| 0:35.1 | half are using another type of microphone. |
| 0:38.5 | And that makes it a lot sloppier than we would like. In addition to those microphone issues, there was also a weird |
| 0:44.5 | thing going on with the sound effects where any time someone would press one of the sound effects, |
| 0:50.0 | the volume on the tablet would go down to zero, and then I would have to go over and frantically push the volume on the tablet would go down to zero. And then I would have to go over and frantically push the volume back up |
| 0:59.0 | so that the next time someone used it, it would work again and people could hear it. |
| 1:04.5 | And it was a weird juggling act that I had to do that I just had to be aware of any time anybody |
| 1:09.8 | went over there after they were done and they started their next scene. I had to go that I just had to be aware of any time anybody went over there after they |
| 1:11.2 | were done and they started their next scene. I had to go push the volume back up. What a mess. |
| 1:16.9 | Anyway, we have good equipment now that all works. We've done, we've recorded several live |
| 1:23.1 | episodes since then that you will hear. We have a new sound effects board created by engineer |
| 1:28.2 | Ryan that works like a charm. So this is the last kind of not great live episode you're hopefully |
| 1:36.9 | ever going to have to hear sound wise. It is still listenable, but it's not as perfect as I would |
| 1:42.4 | like it to be, which is to say perfect. |
