0:15.1	And today in honor of spooky month, we're going to be sharing some spine tingling stories
0:20.7	that have been happening in the news recently. We're going to close out with some very scary

1:04.0	Yeah, I would because this one's nice. This was about fairy circles. So a recent study which
1:12.7	uses artificial intelligence to examine thousands of satellite images has revealed hundreds of
1:20.2	fairy circles around the world when the formations were found in Africa's Nambib desert and parts
1:26.8	of Australia. Researchers developed an AI model designed to recognize fairy circles based on
1:35.5	known pictures of the phenomena. They were shocked to find 263 previously undiscovered fairy
1:46.0	circles in 15 different countries across three continents. The project's lead researcher said in
1:51.8	a press release that quote, this has allowed us for the first time to globally understand the factors
1:59.6	affecting their distribution. They found that all of the areas where the fairy circles were found
2:06.4	were in very dry areas that on an average received less than seven inches of rainfall per year
2:13.8	and that the soil was low in nitrogen. This research team has since created a quote,
2:19.9	global atlas of fairy circles to be used by researchers trying to solve the mystery of their odd
2:26.1	rings of vegetation. So I'm assuming that when we're describing a fairy circle here,
2:32.5	we're talking like a circle of mushrooms, for example, or a circle of some kind of plants.
