0:34.9	Now, for any of you that this is your first time, and as a reminder to everyone else,
0:39.3	Spooky is a series where we investigate classic, famous, popular monsters of movies, books,
0:48.5	mythology, so on and so forth, and say, what steps of evolution would it take to achieve a creature like that monster?
1:00.4	Right. The way that we often like to say it is, if we were to use the toolkit of real-life natural selection, how might we arrive at this creature or something close enough to it that it would make its way into the books.
1:13.3	Yeah, so we'll try to cover the features of that monster, its abilities, its look, maybe even its evolutionary deep time history.
1:23.3	Yeah, hence the title, Spuulative Evolution.
1:26.9	And by the end of the episode, we will come up with our own version, our own spooky version of this creature.
1:32.8	Now, this is just meant to be fun, so we're not making any definitive statements about how something like this would have to evolve.
1:39.0	No, we're just playing with scientific concepts.
1:41.3	And for this year, we will be investigating monsters from the tabletop RPG game, Dungeons
