Anyways, so Alex had this kid in his high school and this all started around sophomore year of high school with this kid who we're going to call Ben, because we always do, right? It's a thing on the channel. His parents were super rich from a crazy tech empire. So, I mean, a lot of people make a lot of money, but it's more like there's almost like different types of, you know, spoiled kid

parents. There's like the super nepotism inherited spoiled kid parents where, you know, the family

comes from like super old school oil or textiles and they just haven't done things for generations.

There's also a little bit more of this like kind of new money. So you have a bunch of apps or

tech products or something like that go really

successful, and then you make a lot of money very quickly.

Anyways, though, this kid Ben, he came from a crazy tech empire family.

And these parents might have been really good at writing software or selling software.

But the one thing that they definitely weren't good at was setting,

you know, being good parents and setting a good expectation. They let this, they basically told Ben

since birth that he was special and destined for greatness, which I will say is not bad.

I think being, you know, a parent who's going to go in and be like, hey, you know,

you're, you're destined for something great. We've really high standards. I don't necessarily think

that's terrible, you know, by itself. But here's the thing. This kid, Ben, so he's told that

since a very early age. And he didn't always grow up rich, right? I mean, his parents had a tech empire, but it came

over time. So all of a sudden, he becomes filthy rich because a lot of times in tech, right,
