Summary

There are movies and then there are career changing movies. Drew Barrymore can thank a loveable three foot tall extra terrestrial for putting her on the map. Sean Penn better add Mr. Hand to his holiday cards, because Fast Time At Ridgemont High was his coming out party. Michael Keating might be "Batman" but without Nigh Shift he might of ended up being Mr. Freeze. Nicolas Cage is basking in the moment, but owes it all to Valley Girl...for sure! And before Nicole Kidman was anything, she was a fifteen year old Aussie in the 80s classic, BMX Bandits. Despite all these examples there is one movie I left off that is solely responsible for launching the career of Hollywood's favorite actor. Had it not been for a sweet silly film about a mermaid in New York, Tom Hanks would be nothing more than a Bosom Buddy instead of the A-List star we know today. Today on Buzzn The Tower we'll take a deep dive into the ocean and talk about the career changing Ron Howard film, Splash.
