0:10.9	podcasts. They give me an opportunity to have a little bit of a less structured conversation
0:15.3	about what's unfolding around us from a biblical worldview. And there is a lot unfolding. We're just back from Israel's first time I think I have talked with you in this format since I got back from Israel.
0:28.6	And it's really still startling to me to see the anti-Semitism, those battles raging across conservative ideological spectrum and thought leaders.
0:40.3	I don't need to get into the names.
0:42.3	I'm sure you're familiar with them, and I'm not trying to pick a new fight with anybody.
0:46.3	But there's some really, really bad theology out there.
0:51.3	The Book of Romans makes it really clear.
0:53.3	We have an obligation to the Jewish people and not to fight all their wars, but to be advocates for them in the face of the kind of hatred we see.
1:03.0	And everybody should understand the hatred for the Jewish people is coming for you. It's the same spirit.
1:08.0	So if you see the Jewish people being marginalized and accused of everything from Jeffrey Epstein to
1:15.6	controlling the global media narrative to whatever it may be,
1:21.6	that same hatred's coming for you as if you're a Christ follower and it will be just as illogical and irrational.
1:28.3	If I're going to give a topic to this session, I think it would be fierce time, but we don't
1:33.3	have to be afraid.
1:34.3	And so I'm going to take a minute and tell you why I think the times are fierce, and then
1:38.3	we can talk a bit about why I think we don't have to be afraid.
1:43.3	You can do, or maybe a better, maybe a better way to
1:46.4	title it is fierce times and courageous choices, because I believe we can demonstrate tremendous
1:52.0	courage by choosing not to react out of fear. You can do the right thing while you're overcoming fear,
1:59.6	and too many Christ followers, in my opinion,
2:02.5	are capitulating to fear.
