I'm your host, Deb Bowen, and my lovely co-host, Samantha Faye, is not with me tonight.

But instead, I'm so excited to tell you that Joel's with us tonight.

How, Joel?

Hi there, Deb. Thanks for inviting me.

Oh, honey, I'm so glad you're with me.

You know, usually folks, when, as you all probably know,

when Joel's with me, we talk about rocks.

Because, you know, that's what Joel loves. He loves rocks.

But Joel loves a lot of other stuff, too.

And Joel has a lot of other interests as well.

And so, when he and I were planning this show tonight,

we decided it would be fun and interesting to have a topic that I truly don't think we've ever covered

in the more than four years we've been doing this show.

And that is looking at the symbols and tools that we use

and are connected to in some emotional and spiritual way in our belief systems.

And so we thought it might be an interesting topic for conversation for tonight

to just think about what are the tools, the symbols in your belief system,

and what do they mean to you?

And this came about, this topic actually came about for me,

from recently having been in Glastonbury in the United Kingdom.
