How did you come to find those books?

And what kind of benefits did you get from checking them out?

So those were the first books that I read when I went through my own transformation.

So my military transition was was pretty rough. And, you know, there's a

couple of episodes before this, you know, that we went into it. But let's just say this is the

first that a listener is listening to. I had a pretty rough transition. Most people do.

It's like in a, in a military transition, it doesn't matter what your sticking point is.

You're probably going to have one. So mine was not money. I was afraid I would run out of money,

but I made good money when I got out. And in fact, I'm one of the fortunate people that made significantly more money, but still the bad man came.

The darkness came.

Not understanding the world out there was the problem for me.

Even though I lived in the world, right?

It's not like I lived in an open bay barracks like on full metal jacket for the 16

years I was in the military. We have houses. We have cars. We live in the world. But for some

reason, getting out and changing the place where I get my paycheck from was this completely

upsetting thing. And I've processed it so much that I realized that it was the quality of my teammates in the

military that I was used to, the quality of my friends. So those people might be all kinds of things,

right, on the wrong side, but on the on the side that I appreciate about them,

they're dependable, they're reliable. The military is not a place where you cancel your

appointments because something came up. And that's all I saw in corporate world when I got

there is people canceling people moving things oh sorry something

came up like just doesn't happen in the military and so I've actually distilled it to that
