0:19.3	And we're so happy to have you join us this week. Today we're going to be discussing
0:23.1	two well-known people in the Psychic World who helped revolutionize the way we think

0:43.1	medium, Chico Xavier, and the man who introduced us to Mesmerism friends, Mesmer. So let's start with
0:50.2	Chico Xavier. We've talked on this show before about automatic writing, the ability to channel
0:56.8	words through your writing. But have you ever heard of psychography or psychography? Have you heard of
1:03.4	that Deb? No, not in that word, but I know what it means. Yeah, you can tell what it means from the
1:10.6	word, but it's not one that's tossed around a lot. It's the ability to go into a trance and channel
1:16.6	art and literature from deceased people. Most would agree that one of the most famous people with the
1:22.2	ability to do this was a Brazilian medium named Chico Xavier. In his 92 years on this Earth, he
1:29.1	published more than 450 books, which have sold over 25 million copies. He was born in Brazil, as I
1:37.8	said, his father sold lottery tickets and his mother was a housewife. Walking home from church
1:42.7	one day, he heard his dad gossiping about a woman who had lost a child. Xavier was angered when
1:48.1	he heard the word abortion tossed around and told his astonished father that the woman had an
1:53.0	e-topic pregnancy and that's why the child died. His dad took him to a priest and told the priest
1:58.6	his son was saying strange things he had no knowledge of in talking to spirits. The priest told
2:03.8	him to say a thousand Hail Mary's and send him home. Okay, Deb, I just have to pause here for a minute
2:09.6	because I can't imagine a four year old saying any of these words are under or comprehending
2:15.1	anything the adults were saying and I also cannot imagine asking a child to say a thousand Hail Mary's.
