message this morning and I don't really have a Christmas message either.

I tried to get one actually in between watching the 49ers win.

Which is very, I don't know, you have to be a dedicated fan to be five and ten and still

be excited about winning.

Can't tell you how many of those games I have T-vote and just delete it without watching.

You know, last week I shared a message called Spirit Wars.

Probably had more response from that message than I've ever had on any single message, except

for maybe the message on Abstalk eschatology, which I still get feedback from that.

Why don't you just turn to Matthew chapter 2, verse 16.

I'm just going to do a few minutes of review and I want to share a little bit more about

something I feel like we're in.

Matthew chapter 2.

What's kind of where we started last week, verse 16.

Well, let's just go verse 1.

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem and Jade and the days of Herod the king, the Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem saying,

where is he who has been born King of the Jews?

Where we saw a star in the east and we've come to worship him.

When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.

You know, this is kind of amazing verse.

You know, the Magi, I don't know if you know who they were, but they were the sorcerers and I just read an article about,

it was probably about a year ago actually, that the Magi were the sorcerers that Daniel actually was a part of in Babylon.

And so one, the article I read said that some of those, they believed that these Magi were actually believers who have kind of assimilated the kingdom into the culture.
