Summary

Have you ever asked yourself what changed when you were "born again?" You look in the mirror and see the same reflection - your body hasn't changed. You find yourself acting the same and yielding to those same old temptations - that didn't seem to change either. So you wonder, Has anything really changed? The correct answer to that question is foundational for receiving from God.

0:50.9	things are subject to change. You can exercise, you can lose weight, you can educate
0:57.7	yourself and change to a degree, but you still have a body and a soul that have not been saved.
1:05.0	They've been purchased.
1:07.0	Someday we're going to get a glorified body,
1:10.0	someday we will know all things, even as also we are known, 1st Corinthians chapter 13.
1:16.1	So those things are going to be changed in the future, but the only part of you that has changed
1:21.7	right now is your spirit man. And you can see that because
1:26.0	the verse that I started with out of 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 it says if any man
1:32.0	be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away,
1:35.8	behold all things are become new.
1:39.2	It didn't say old things are passing away, it's not a process, it's something that's already happened.
1:45.0	All things have become, not our becoming, but have become new.
1:50.0	That's not true in your physical body, it's not true in your soul, but in your spirit, you are a completely brand new person.
