Numbers chapter 27, verse 18. So the Lord said to Moses, take Joshua, the son of none, a man in whom is the

0:41.2

spirit, and lay your hand on him. Oh, what a good verse. This is the transition, the succession

0:49.8

process that's the beginning between Moses and Joshua. And what I love about Numbers 27, verse 18,

1:46.5

that talks about the Spirit of God, giving intelligence and gifts and skills for what God calls

1:53.2

people to do. But that's the point. It all comes from the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit in Joshua is who qualifies Joshua for leadership.

2:07.7

It's not about what he has. It's about who he has in him. And I just want to encourage you

2:16.2

today with this reality, because as we've prayed multiple

2:20.3

times, this is one of the glorious differences in the New Testament from the Old Testament that

2:25.2

we all have the Holy Spirit in us. And I just want you to think about any leadership you have in

2:32.7

other's lives, any influence you have in others' lives
