We're exclusively reporting that Spirit Airlines is preparing to stop its operations.

The budget airline had been in talks with the Trump administration for a $500 million

lifeline, but the rescue deal has fallen apart, and without it, Spirit is running out of cash.

The airline is moving forward with plans to liquidate its planes and shut down. But when that might happen, isn't clear.

The Defense Department now has deals with eight tech companies, including Open AI and Google,

to use their artificial intelligence in classified settings.

These contracts give the department more AI options after declared Anthropic a supply chain risk earlier in the year. The deals show how much of Silicon Valley is agreeing to the Pentagon's

terms in a way that Anthropic didn't, and that led to a big fight between the government and anthropic.

And Elon Musk's pay package at Tesla was valued at $158.4 billion last year.

Tesla shareholders approved the massive pay plan this past November to motivate the chief

executive to focus more time on the electric vehicle maker.
