that Tom Cruise saved the movie industry. A lot of stuff for us to talk about here today and joining us

to talk about that stuff is writer, producer, director, editor, philanthropist Robert Meyer Bernette

sitting back there. Of course, is Ray Aura, chef extraordinaire sitting back there who is literally

counting down the hour so he can go see food, blood and honey tonight as Taylor Gonzalez running

our shows. Of course, Jonathan Voico and the delightful Chris Carr is here as well. And most importantly,

we got a whole bunch of stuff to talk about here today. So we're just going to dive right into it

and we're going to start off with this. You know, Top Gun Maverick ended up being one of the

biggest hits of the year. And you know, there were a number of doubters out there who thought,

you know, this movie is far too old. It's a little too late. Flying fighter jets in the era of drones

and unmanned piloting. Can it really work? And I admit to a degree, I was one of those. Like I

was one of people that thought it's been it's a little too little too late. This is a sequel

that should have come out 15 years ago is one of the thoughts that I had predominantly.

But then about a year and a half ago, they showed us the first like 18 minutes of the movie

at Sinabacan in Las Vegas, like a year and a half ago. And Aaron Cummings and I were like,
