Well, I'm going to have to ask you about the coronavirus.

Chris and Jason talked about it on yesterday's market floor,

and I certainly want to talk to you about it in a few minutes.

But I want to kick things off with some earning stories and let's begin with

McCormick, the spice maker, and really a dang good stock over the last few years,

but not so much today. Shear's slipping a bit after McCormick reported lower than expected earnings.

What is going on here?

Well not only the McCormick miss on their revenue and earnings, but they gave weak guidance for 2020.

Net income was actually down a penny year over year on flat revenue.

So I think all in all this was, I mean, McCormick's never been a high-flying stock but it was a worse quarter than

what was expected but you need to put it in context for instance

michormick prior to this earnings was up 40% over the past year alone.

And that is foiled against the market's 25%,

but still that's 20% over the market, 15 20% over the market,
