#658 This is not good. Not good at all. I was at the dentist's when my phone started blowing up with messages from my team and audience that Deep Pocket Monster had been hacked. 0:30.8	The first time was in 2013 and my entire website suffered from a DDoS attack or a DDoS
0:37.2	attack and I was unable to get through to it and have control for two weeks.
0:43.4	Thankfully podcasts were still scheduled to go out and I had an email list which was
0:48.4	really the first time I realized how important an email list was.
0:51.5	I mean, not just for communication and broadcasting, but as I'll back up in case I wasn't
0:56.3	able to get SmartPassiveIncome.com back and it was a smart passive income and a number
1:00.2	of other websites that were just down and thankfully I was able to get it back up and running
1:03.6	and put the right security protocols in the place so that that would never happen again
1:06.6	at least in that way.
1:09.0	But just the other day, this is early January 2023, I get a message from my producer of
1:15.0	a deep pocket monster, my YouTube channel saying that we've been hacked.
1:20.9	And I didn't want to believe it at first until he messaged four or five times in a row
1:24.0	saying this was real and what was interesting was the night before we had just talked
1:28.2	about it because we saw a friend of ours, his YouTube channel had gotten hacked and
