by astronomy to a perfect sphere. What, Bob? A perfect sphere? I thought that was theoretically.

Yeah, this is, John, this is one of the strange things that astronomers sometimes

discover they don't really understand. In radio waves, using the Australian square kilometer

array, astronomers discovered serendipitously what appears to be a perfect sphere of radio

emissions, tens of hundreds of light years, tens of thousands of light

years away, and it's tens of light years across. I've got a picture of this in radio waves

on behind the black, and that's what it looks like, a perfect sphere. It doesn't radiate in any

other radiation. They have no idea what this is.

They really don't understand it.

They actually did consider the possibility that it might be actually an artificially

built Dyson sphere, but they dismissed that idea.

It doesn't radiate in infrared as such a sphere would do so.
