Hey, welcome. Thank you so much for being here today. I am so thankful to be able to share God's

word with you and to have this conversation that is just me. It always does feel funny because I would love to

have back and forth chats. But here we are together nonetheless, and I am so thankful. So I have been

podcasting over many years and there has often been hard and tragic seasons in life, both in our nation and abroad and even personally.

And the Lord has shown great mercy through it all, but has also used it for bigger purposes

than I probably will ever know Earthside. And right now, there is just an explosion of sin

from a degraded nation. I just have to be honest.

We see the fruits of sin just everywhere, and the sin is sin that murders and steals and

destroys. It's sin that seems to be celebrated by some thinking that it advances their ultimate goals and

purposes. And it's not just blatantly sinful things, but also the empathy of people who try and

justify the sinful actions of others. So we have an issue and there is a solution, thankfully. Our nation has grown soft because of good times.

That's what happens. And now we have hard times. And the hard times are here and we must think

biblically about things. We must know what is right and good and true and how to apply the truth to our daily living, to our

culture, to build societies that love and fear the Lord. That's where blessing is, that's where

fruitfulness is, that's where joy and peace are going to be found. So in the wake of many

horrible and tragic things, especially thinking of Charlie Kirk

and his assassination and the cascading events of society that has no fear of God or respect for

his image bears, I want to share two things that has given me a sober and firm place to stand in the midst of all
