What do we do when we come across an internet post targeting Christians, but it seems off?

choosing to listen to the Shepu's Faithful podcast. Today is a discernment podcast where I am going to

walk through an internet post. I don't know if you call them memes. Memes to me mean they're funny.

And I always thought a meme was just a picture, like a funny picture with words on it. But I have so many in my life that calls

even videos memes that are funny. So this is just an internet post. Like somebody made it

and then posted it on the internet, like a quote.

So that's what we're going to go through today and just discerning it because when I read it,

my heart ached. Like I saw the wrestlings, literally the wrestlings in this. But but the bigger thing I saw was deceit and how Christians,

if we are not careful to critically think and to look, go back to scripture, to find our

understandings to our questions, then we are going to end up in a very different place. Our trajectory will change. And so when I saw this,

I thought, let me talk about it on the podcast. And then I read this beautiful little Charles Spurgeon

devotion from his morning and evening devotional. And it just really painted the other side of the

coin, if you will. Like there's two trajectories with our

questions. And I thought, wow, this is the camp that is biblical and beautiful. And then you have
