When we set our minds on the things of men, there will be stumbling.

Jesus confronts Peter about this very thing in Matthew 16, telling him he is a hindrance to him,

for he has his mind set not on the things of God, but on the things of men.

This is the part of the summer where I'm starting to get excited for the upcoming year. Maybe everybody's like this. I know

school supply shopping is just around the corner. Usually after the 4th of July, there's a huge

sale at all the stores. They have that big, you know, beginning, it's like Christmas season for supplies.

But now I feel like Prime Day or Amazon has ruined it and everybody's scrambling to just give away

random things in the summer. I'm like, no, we need markers and we need watercolor. That's what I'm

excited for. So I am very pumped for those sales to come.

But right now I'm in that part where I'm starting to plan and dream and develop some sort of

ideas for scheduling and routine. And I recently found myself, by the way, a homeschool if you
