Lushak. Hi, everyone. Welcome to today's episode on the podcast. I'm so glad you're here. Today I'm

going to share about prayer, and I'm really excited because last week I kind of touched on superstition

and sometimes we end a prayer saying,

in the name of Jesus, which is wonderful, but it's not the magic words that make the prayer

happen, though you don't have to say the magic words in order for the Lord to hear you.

We pray in Jesus's name because it's through him that we have access to the Father because

of his death on the cross and his resurrection. So I'm going to talk about that and about asking

and humble hearts and waiting. And I have some great Puritan quotes at the end that kind of give

an application for us. And the first one's my favorite.

I'm just going to say if you get to that first one, you should keep listening, but that's a good

one about struggling in prayer and Jacob's struggling. So that is coming up. But first,

a life hack. Now, summertime is here. I love summer. It's my favorite season. It's just so happy and the sun is

usually out and shining and water is usually involved. It's just a happy, happy time. But with summer,

it means it's hot. And when you have heat, you need ice, right? You need ice for a variety of
