There is a lot of temptation to trade the things of God for the things of this world.

After all, sometimes what the world promises can seem better, more fulfilling, and satisfying.

But don't take the bait.

Today I'm going to share about two things that want to deceive you and pull you away from true fruitfulness.

Thank you for tuning in. Many of you know that we just moved to Florida and it's been really fun and totally different.

As a living experience compared to Colorado, first of all, we have nature. We laugh that things in

Florida are either poisonous, venomous, or want to eat you, like swallow you up, including the

ground, as in sinkholes that just often open up and cobble things like lakes, make them disappear.

Now, I did grow up here, but it's been a long time since I have lived here, and I grew up as a

child in Florida. I didn't have children, and now being a mother of children who want to catch

things and be adventurous, you know, I'm constantly being like, don't touch that yet. Let me Google

what that is and if it can harm us.

Let me look it up.

And recently we had somebody just stop on by our house and wanted to know if our front porch was ready to be like an Airbnb.

It didn't matter because they decided to make a web anyway in the corner. And now we have a large banana spider that is growing remarkably fast.

Every day, I'm like, that thing is bigger.

It is going to be the size of our hand in, I think, a week.

And, you know, the banana spider doesn't freak me out as much because I feel like they're very showy.
