Hi, everyone, welcome back to the podcast. My name is Lauren, and I just got back from a little summer break.

I took time off, and if you're a Patreon supporter, you know that

our life is just full of moves right now. Our church moved facilities. We are personally moving

and our co-op moved buildings. And so it has just been a crazy month of packing and moving.

And we still have an adventure for our family ahead as we are not

moving out of our house until the end of the month. So it should get real interesting. But we rented

one of those pods and it is sitting in our driveway. And apparently we have way more stuff than

I thought we did, which I think is classic if you've been in the same place

for almost 10 years. It's hiding in crevices. And everything I see, I'm like, maybe the new people

would like it. Maybe we should just leave it. But yeah, it's been fun and an adventure and,

and, you know, challenging. but I'm very thankful and we are

excited I'm excited to be back and I thank you for all the encouragement and support that people

have left me in emails and on Instagram saying that you've missed the podcast or that you're

excited that I'm back so So thank you very much.

Today I want to talk about self-glory, which I actually wanted to talk about in July,

but I lost my microphone cord in the scramble to get your house ready for pictures. And so it was

lost up until about three days ago. And it was found miraculously in some random box in the garage

as we were filling up our pod. And I'm so grateful. So I feel a little rusty and also my microphone

or my headphones aren't working properly. So hopefully this records in a way that is tolerable

for you all to listen to. But I got to get these things out because we're going to move and I'll
