and I'm so grateful you're here. I was just listening to another podcast today, and the host said,

I know you don't have to listen, so thank you for doing it. And I feel the same way. I know there's

lots of options out there, and I'm just really grateful that you're letting me be part of your day. I'm excited for today's episode because we're going to

talk about history. But before we get into that, I want to thank everybody who has supported me

so generously through Patreon this year. I'm so grateful it's come at the perfect time for our family

and it allows me to continue to produce this podcast. So thank you very much. And history, today we're talking about Boniface.

Boniface is such a cool dude. And we talked about him. My husband and I last year, I think, on our

Christmas episode. And I'm going to tell more of his story. And this isn't Christmas. I'm actually

sharing this because I just have this real fire in my heart. I kind of feel like

Jeremiah right now where this might not be the most popular message. Surely it's not.

Definitely not with the world. But even among Christians right now, we've grown a little soft.

We've had a little too much holiday. And we've had decades and decades and generations of peace,

which has been such a blessing. But I think it's caused Christians to grow a little soft and our

muscles to be a little weak. And so here, I think we have some hard times. We've had hard times

this year. And this is in general. I know that in our lives, we have ups and downs and trials specifically
