Efficiency is being productive without wasting time or expense.

Is efficiency the same thing as making the most of every opportunity?

What happens when our days are hectic and we just can't seem to get anything done?

How can we be at peace and have more joy when we go about our to-do lists?

I'm covering these questions today and how we can prove faithful with our daily

worship of God no matter how efficient we are with our day.

host, Lauren Lushak. Hey everyone, welcome to the podcast. My name is Lauren, and maybe if you

have been listening for a while, you know that I've taken a little break. If this is your first time,

I took a little break because on January 16th,

we welcomed a precious little bundle in this world. We had a baby girl. We didn't find out

what we were having. And here she is. And she is just a bundle of joy. I love her. She's

delicious. I want to just snuggle her all the time, which I get to do a lot of. So I'm very, very grateful. We named

her Isla, Ila Grace, and her name is actually, it comes from a Psalm, just like our daughter

River is from Psalm 464, and now we have another precious girl named after a Psalm, Psalm 971,

which says, The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice, let the multitude of isles be glad

thereof. And so we have a little Isla, and she reminds us that the Lord reigns, and that we can

rejoice in that. We can be glad because he reigns. And it's kind of fun, because today we're going to

touch on God's sovereignty, which has to do with him

reigning. And then grace, because God's grace is sufficient for us, it has been sufficient

over these years of loss, of babies, and waiting, and hoping for another little bundle of joy
