Is your God who you think He is? In John 424, Jesus tells us to worship God in spirit and in truth.

And later on in John 828, Jesus says that the truth sets us free.

We are to worship God, which means the true things about God.

But we can get mixed up with our feelings, with good songs, and even our past that distorts our view of God.

Are we worshiping God in truth,

Hey, everyone, welcome back to the Sheeper's Faithful podcast. This is your first episode. I'm really glad you're here. My name is Lauren, and I love talking about the Word of God and how it applies to our daily living. And we are in the midst of theology. I did not make this a series because I didn't think about it going any further. But in the last episode, I talked about should women know theology.

And it's kind of a trick question, of course. Everybody should know theology. In fact,

everybody has a theology. Everybody has a belief about God, but is it the right one? Is it the right

view? And that impacts the way we live and it impacts our salvation. This is important.

If people don't believe their sinners, do they need a savior? Well, yes, they still need a savior, but they don't know that they do.

And so this week, I was studying the Bible with some women at our church. We're doing this

Bible study on a biblical cure for anxiety by Todd Friel, and it's been really encouraging.

And so far in the first five chapters, we've learned a lot about God.

I mean, we've talked about anxious things or tragedies or chaos, but it's all been funneled

through this foundation of who God is and what he is doing.

And so it's been fabulous. But I thought today we could

talk about some attributes of God that are true. But first, we have to start with a life hack.

And this is from yours truly. I love LaCroix sodas. Well, I don't know if there's sodas.

They're like a sparkling water that's flavored. They're so good. I love them. But what I discovered is if you add a bit of orange juice to them, especially high

pulp orange juice, which I absolutely love in that LaCroix, a little half and half, it tastes like a

mimosa. It's so good. And I encourage you to try it because it's that delicious.
