Today's tip is to spend a night on memory lane.

Purposefully taking an evening this week to look through old photos or cards can be quite

enjoyable.

You'll probably like recalling special memories far more than most things people do to

fill their weekday evenings.

So I know from studying time logs that many people find weekday evenings challenging to use

well.

We are tired after work, and it's hard to go anywhere, especially as the weather turns

darker and colder.

We do the must-do's with kids and chores, and then we fill any discretionary time with

mindless screen consumption.

But if you are looking to make one night this week feel a little more special, without

going anywhere, try this.

Consciously spend a night on memory lane.

If you are on social media, you may sometimes be presented with a photo from today's date

years ago.

It can be fun to be reminded of a special moment in your past that you found it meaningful

enough to post about at the time, but you don't have to rely on social media to indulge
