Hey everybody. Welcome back to the 12th

I'm a Q. We have a really great conversation today with one of my favorite

young players in all of baseball, rookie of year finalist,

indie music enthusiastioed flame thrower, Braves pitcher Spencer Strider. He just finished his

rookie campaign in Atlanta and set all kinds of records. He was the youngest Braves pitcher to

strikeout 200 guys. He had the most strikeouts in a single game in Braves history with 16.

That game was insane, by the way.

And he was the fastest guy in MLB history to reach 200 strikeouts,

breaking a record set by Hall of Famer, maybe you've heard of him, Randy Johnson.

He throws 100 miles an hour, and in one of the biggest

honors you can get, guys across the league voted him their player's choice rookie of the year.

On top of all that, I just really like him as a human. He is as thoughtful as he is confident,

and he handles himself like a ball player far beyond his years. We've gotten to be pretty

close this year, bonding over our love of music and slightly progressive cultural viewpoints.

I feel sure that if you don't love him already, you probably will by the end of this episode.
