touched on a little bit during the CELO update, but the Jason Dominguez injury now brings up Spencer Jones.

And I feel like he's been one of those guys with the Yankee prospect people and the Yankee fans.

You've just heard his name a lot over the years because of his comparisons to Aaron Judge and his size and the homers.

And, you know, what are you going to what's it

going to look like when you got those two guys in the lineup there's six seven lefty and a six

seven righty and all these things I think it's a perfect situation for him to come up in right now

with this team playing really really well and somebody who is had been a highly touted prospect that people are excited to see, when that

guy gets called up to help save a team, it could be one of the worst things ever. When he gets called

up to just be part of a team that is rolling, that has a leader who has a manager that's been around for a while, that's got a culture where it's not all about him. He should be able to thrive. And we've seen it both ways. And mostly, you know, with Yankee prospects, I feel like they come up and they're great, and then a lot of them then fall off. Yeah. You know, Greg Byrd and Gary Sanchez, and I know Glaber Torres was it, you know, he was a trade and everything else, but he was another one of those guys. And Aaron Judge was the one who was the most consistent. It's funny because Aaron Judge wasn't even the prize prospect during all of that with those younger players, and he turns out to be one of the best players in baseball and one of the all-time Yankees. So, yeah, I mean, the Yankees have, throughout the years with the consistent

regular season winning, have been dubbed at times a little boring. Things like this

that happen over the course of a season where you get a chance to see someone who is an

imposing figure, someone you're excited about and Spencer Jones adds a little juice to an otherwise ho-hum season where they're just beating everybody with ease. Well, I think it makes it more, I think it makes it exciting too, because he's a name that unless you're watching spring training games, we've heard about him. It's like the legend of Spencer Jones. We haven't really seen them. We haven't seen them. You just hear that people love them.

I'll just give this question because I don't know the answer to it for sure. And I mean, aside from a fan that just kind of, aside from a fan that just wants to see him come up and play.

Like, why do you think that Spencer Jones has not been given the opportunity?

When you look at what he has done in his minor league,

like he's like Judge,

he's going to come up now at an age where he's not 19 like Bryce Harper was.

He's not 25.

He's 25 already.

And it's not even like I see a dip in any of his stats when you go through his minor league career. So he played at Vanderbilt. And all right, so he had four years of college. Fair enough. He gets drafted to me, usually guys that have the four years in college that kind of serves as some of their minor league time in terms of. And I don't want to hear about service time and all that crap. This is the Yankees. This isn't the Pirates a team that's looking to cut corners of the Marlins like that. The Yankees shouldn't be concerned with that stuff. But when you look at what he has done in his four years in the minor leagues, I mean, leading the league and runs and hits and doubles and

RBIs and pretty consistently, too, it's like, what else is he supposed to do? Well, Sele mentioned

that the thing that people knock him with is the strikeout. So is he also leading the league
