We're going to do something we haven't done in a while,

and that's a quick speed clean of your kitchen, front entrance, slash living area,

and your guest bathroom. So let's get right into the episode. It's time to gear up for our cleaning

session. One of the first things you might want to do is get your house smelling fresh. That could

mean quickly taking the trash out, running the garbage disposal in case somebody's been just tossing food

into the sink, and maybe lighting a candle or putting some fresh wax in your wax

warmer and turning that on. Getting your house smelling nice is relaxing and helps set the stage for a cleaning session.

But we're not going to spend too much time on that.

You may also want to start a load of laundry.

If you're struggling and you're behind,

sometimes it's good to just run a load of towels and underwear to make sure that

your household keeps functioning. There are certain things you can put off as far as housework,

but to keep your house functioning, you've got to do dishes and you've got to wash laundry.

And especially underwear towels or if someone has a uniform that needs to get washed,

that would go into that priority load as well.

Don't get too hung up on what goes with what.

I feel like detergent has come a long way in the last several years and it's not as important to separate everything, especially if you're washing in cold.

I mean, ideally, I do like to keep towels with maybe things like jeans, t-shirts, underwear,

my dark dressier outfits.
