cleaning your house. Let's get right into the episode. Today we are going to talk about cleaning your

bedroom. And this is going to be a speed clean so let's get right into it first of all

I want you to resist the urge to start picking up laundry off the floor or throwing away trash

what I want you to start with is making the bed Yes, I know you're going to be getting back into your bed

in a few hours, blah, blah, blah, but making the bed can just change the look and feel of your room

and it will help you build momentum with your cleaning session. You've got to like how your room

looks and seeing that freshly made bed is going to make a huge difference. If you want to

change the sheets, I recommend you having a spare set of sheets so that you're not washing them and just

having to wait and then you just have a bare mattress there. Ideally, you should have another

set of sheets and a blanket so that you can make your bed or maybe you're just changing the

sheets and putting on the same comfort or bed spread.

But I do recommend that you make your bed, even if this is a day that you're changing the sheets.

And I'm going to give you just a couple of minutes to do that.

In fact, if your room needs a makeover, one of the easiest ways to

kind of refresh your room is to get a new bedding set. We like to do that from time to time.

Or if you're happy with your comforter or your bed spread you can always get some new throw pillows

although there's something to be said for keeping it simple and not having a lot of extras on the bed it just kind of depends on your cleaning style and your preferences there so let's spend a couple minutes on making that bed. It really doesn't take

long and you can definitely streamline the process. If you use like a duvet cover or kind of a thin

comforter that has a lining that's designed to serve as a sheet sometimes you can even

forego using a top sheet basically if you use a top sheet you don't have to wash your bed spread

or comforter as often but if it's easy for you to just toss the comforter in the wash
