We're in Luke 15 and we're in the stories of lost things.

So if you've ever been lost then you're on board today

because this is what Jesus is teaching us about.

There was a lost sheep and a lost coin and a lost son.

And I think everybody kind of has some general knowledge

of the fact that there was a prodigal son.

What we've already learned is that the prodigal one

in this story is really not the son

because prodigal means lavish and excessive

in the ways that we rebelled against God,

in the way that he had compassion and mercy on the son.
