So in case any of you don't know, some of you know me, some of you don't, I'm Brandy Taylor.

And, yeah, thanks. And if you didn't bring a Bible with you this morning, our ushers have

Bibles, so if you'll just raise your hand, they'll be happy to give you one. And when you do get

your Bible, if you could turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 13.

And the title of my sermon today is if love was an action figure.

And I wanted to talk to you about love because love, I think that our society has confused love in a way.

They think that love means it's just something that you say to somebody and then, you know,

then you love each other and then that's it.

But that's not what love is.

Love is where you show someone that you love them every day.

And we're going to read, I have the new King James Version.

It says, though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love,

I have become sounding brass or a clinging symbol.

And though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge,

and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not love,

I am nothing.

And then, you know, if you skip on down to verse 8, it says that love never fails.

But whether there are prophecies, they will fail, whether there are tongues they will cease,

whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

Basically what this scripture is saying is that, you know, love is something that lasts

forever. And it just goes on and on and even, you know, you can have all the knowledge and wisdom.

You could have become a college graduate of Harvard or Yale and you could have went to the best
