My name is Frickin and Mage. I'm an Afghan Canadian professional soccer player.

I am the captain of the Afghanistan women's national team.

As many of you may be aware, the Taliban has gained control of Afghanistan and has banned women's sport participation.

So aside from that, what I'm trying to do is lobby for the return of women's football.

And as I do that that I'm actually also a co-founder of a

nonprofit organization where we use sport to help ease the settlement of refugees

to Canada so I use sport as a catalyst for change.
