Summary

Another Media Monday and another edition of The Realest in the business. Today's show covers a lot of ground from the courtroom to the boardroom to the barbershop. For episode 297, the guys cover the lack of elevation in Philadelphia's nightlife scene and how the $200M athletes end up in the same spots as the scammas and kidnappers. They also tackle the shift in global nightlife caused by the pandemic and why everyone is chasing David Grutman (Groot Hospitality) and the Rosanegra Group. The heart of the show covers two major developments in legal cases both involving Donald J. Trump. Those being the voter election fraud case in Georgia led by maligned DA Fani Willis and the $83M L he took to E. Jean Carroll in a defamation case in NY. In GA, Fani had some major explaining to do after it came to light of her possibly improper relationship with her Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade that was uncovered during his divorce proceedings. Chad leaves no stone unturned in digging into the facts if the matter and potentially irreparable damage that has been done to Fani's reputation. The show wraps with a deep dive on the changing for-profit podcast landscape, Spotify clearing the deck for Joe Rogan's $250M re-up and The Swifties and Travis Kelce's feeble attempt to gentrify the bald fade smh. All this and more on episode 297 of The Realest Podcast Ever.
