Welcome in to another special edition of the Inside Carolina podcast last Saturday prior to the

NC State basketball team and prior to the 1993 National Championship team being honored

at halftime of that game in the Smith Center. George Lynch joined Joey Powell and myself

on Inside Carolina Live in studio at WCHL to record an all-accompancing interview of Lynch's

thoughts on the 93 season, thoughts on that 93 national championship team, and also a look at

this year's Tar Heels. We felt like it was a good interview, the YouTube video we shared on Inside Carolina.com, and we wanted to bring it to the podcast feed.

there's no way it's been 30 years since y'all cut the nets down, is it?

Well, if you look at my gray hair,

it's been 30 years.

At least you got it, man.

It was my senior year at Carolina, too.

Knew a little bit of a few of you guys.

We can talk about that off the air.

But what do you remember? Like, when guys talk about college, I try to go back and think, 1993, I was a senior at Carolina.

I remember they won the National Championship.
